About the Brand

Located in the heart of the Chablis region, just outside the village of Chablis, J Moreau & Fils is nestled among the rolling, vineyard covered hills for which the region is famous. Founded in 1814, J. Moreau et Fils is a specialist in unoaked Chablis styles and has nearly two centuries of experience behind it and a very strong vision for the future. Since 2006 the wines have been vinified with the very close involvement of Prof. Denis Dubourdieu with the Moreau winemaking team. The project has given a new impetus to winemaking in Moreau and we are now seeing a revitalization of the Moreau wines styles, characterised by a lively minerality and a perfect balance between terroir, fruit, structure and texture, making the wines accessible in their youth while at the same time possessing a great ageing potential.
